Formed in 2017, Restraining Order is a hardcore punk band based out of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Drawing inspiration from a wide array of punk and hardcore punk subgenres, the band encapsulates influences that span from 60's garage rock to 80's hardcore punk and beyond. They channel the raw energy of bands like Minor Threat and The Fix, while also nodding to the sounds of the Wipers, Nirvana, Bad Religion, Fucked Up, and Career Suicide. Additionally, their musical palette incorporates elements of glam rock, reflecting their diverse range of influences and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of the genre.
